Rozelle House

Rozelle House, in Ayr, was originally a mansion house at the centre of an estate built in the 1700s.

The Hamilton's of Rozelle gifted the mansion, and grounds, to the people of Ayr in 1968 to be used for culture and recreation purposes.

Rozelle House now holds the art and museum collections of South Ayrshire Council (free admission). Opening times are from 10.00 - 17.00, Monday to Saturday, and 14.00 - 17.00, Sundays, April - October.

There is also a tea room in the house. The grounds of Rozelle, with its woodland paths and scenic ponds, are popular with families, dog walkers and pony trekkers.

The grounds are also used for events such as youth football tournaments, fairs and the Ayr Flower Show.
