Turnberry Golf
Club
There are two 18-hole courses at Turnberry,
the scenic 6,474-yard par 71 Ailsa course
that hosts the British Open.

The neighbouring course is the 7,203-yard par 72
King Robert the Bruce course. Prices for the Ailsa
course are about £275. The Bruce course price

is on the south side of Troon used for The
Open at 7,208 yards par 71.

Club
is on the north side of Prestwick at
6,544-yards par 71, one of Scotland’s
most famous links known as Old Prestwick.

This was the fist course to host the Open
Championship when the tournament began in 1860. Old
Prestwick last hosted the Open in 1925. Price guide

Western Gailes Golf
Club
is on the south side of Irvine at 6,639-yard,
par 74, used for Open qualifying.

This is a really challenging links course with all
holes right next to the sea. Price guide about £265

Club
is on the north side of Irvine at 6,408-yards
par 71, known as (Bogside) the oldest in
Irvine.

This course has been used regularly for Open
qualifying. Prices are about £100 per round.

Darley & Lochgreen
Golf Courses
on the east side of Troon with Darley at
6,360 yards par 71.

These courses are situated by Troon centre. A
price guide is about £40 per round, or day
tickets allow play on Darley and one of the
neighbouring courses, the 6,822-yard par 74 Lochgreen
or 4,869 yard Fullarton. Darley and Lochgreen are

is on the north side of Troon at 6,484-yards
par 72.

is on the south side of Irvine to the south
of Irvine centre in the Gailes area at 6,513
yards par 71.

is situated between Troon and Irvine at 6,410
- 7,300 yards par 72.

Prices for visitors are about £250 per round.
This is one of the newest Links courses in Scotland
designed in 2003. The course is owned by the Loch
Lomond Golf Club that is a parks course. This course
was taken over to give their international members a

West Kilbride Golf
Club
is on the west side of Seamill & West
Kilbride at 6,452-yards par 71.

West Kilbride is situated off Fullarton Drive in
Seamill/West Kilbride. Prices for visitors are about
£100 per round. This is a fine looking golf course
with excelent facilities, also, with all holes being
next to the sea, there are great views of the Island

is on the north side of Girvan at 5,033 yards
par 64.

A popular short golf course with the first eight
holes next to the sea with views of small island of
Ailsa Craig. The last ten holes are inland like a
parks course. Situated about 1 mile north of Girvan
