Norwegian Majesty
was originally built for the Majesty Cruise Line as a 558 foot
32,000-ton cruise ship named Royal Majesty. The
Norwegian Cruise Line purchased Royal Majesty
in 1997 to be operated her under the name Norwegian Majesty.
After two years cruising for the new company, she was returned
to her builders to be fitted with a new 122-foot midsection.
Norwegian Majesty
now has 9 passenger decks, 2 pools, 9 bars, casino, fitness
center, 812-seat showroom, 477 outside cabins, 250 inside cabins,
can carry 1,454 passengers and a crew of 620.
Norwegian Majesty
is mainly operated on 7 night cruises out of Boston - Bermuda,
and 7 night cruises from Charleston - Florida, Mexico &
Western Caribbean.
