Grandeur of the Seas was the first of four ships in this class to
enter service for the Royal Caribbean Cruise Line. These four ships
are slightly larger than RCCLs previous largest ships, the 73,192-ton
Sovereign class. The other three sisters Enchantment of
the Seas entered service in 1997, Rhapsody of
the Seas 1997 and Vision of the
Seas 1998.
