Carrick Engineering specialize in alloy
wheel refurbishment using powder coating paint.
As well as providing an excellent looking and
durable finnish, powder coating paints are the
best way of solving rim leaks. Many alloy
wheels over 5 years old suffer from loosing
pressure through the rims as the paint on the
inside rim starts to bubble, this allowing a
few pounds of pressure to escape each week. The
only way to solve the problem is have the old
paint removed by sandblasting then recoated
with powder paint that is cured in a dryer to
give a tough durable finnish.
