Hayes Garden Land is part of a long established family run business that started life in the Lake District whose roots can be traced back over 200 years. Peter Hayes & son Michael developed the site in Symington, Ayrshire in 1988. Michael Hayes is the 7th generation to be involved in the horticultural business. So we have plenty of experience to hand!

Hayes Garden Land has developed into a thriving Garden Centre that is the focus for anyone who has plans for their garden. From Trees, Shrubs, Perennials and Bedding Plants to Quality Garden Furniture, Pots & Planters, Books, gifts and the best Christmas Decorations we can find. Also within Hayes is a 130 seat Bakery Cafe and a Fine Food shop.

Nurseries Direct

Nurseries Direct is a family business built up since 1920. In 1991, the nursery began growing bedding plants for Glasgow and Edinburgh markets and local retailers. The nursery was renamed Nurseries Direct at that time as it reflected the nature of the business. Over the next few years, the nursery was opened to the public along with a retail area and coffee shop.

Nurseries Direct is now the largest independent nursery in Ayrshire stocking a wide range of Plants, Garden Furniture, Garden Planters, vast range of water features, Conservatory Furniture and much more.
