FastStone/ ImageViewer
Fast Stone Image Viewer is an excellent Free
package for viewing digital camera photos.
Simply open Fast Stone, select the File the
photos are in, select View Slide Show, choose
from options such as whether to use the Timer
or just to use on left click, select to use
transitions or not and more. This program can
be set to use the full screen, no tool bar at
the top or bottom. Just click on the picture to
jump forward or set the timer to do it for
you.
If you name each photo photo such as
Edinburgh Castle Front, you can set the slide
show to show that text in any corner of the
screen on top of the photo. You just select the
variable that says whether you want to show the
image name or a variable that shows the
date/time the image was taken. There is a good
selection of Variables, Transitions and Timer
speeds to play around with.
