Fiat Grande Punto

The all new Fiat Grande Punto went on sale in Britain early in 2006. There are two petrol engine options: 1.2 8v (65 bhp) and a new 1.4 8v with 77 bhp; and four turbodiesels: 1.3 16v MultiJet (75 bhp), or 1.3 MultiJet with a variable geometry turbine (90 bhp); and 1.9 MultiJet with either 120 bhp or 130 bhp.

The Grande Punto has been awarded the maximum five-star rating in the European New Car Assessment Program (Euro NCAP) crash tests.

A Punto Sporting will arrive soon with a 95bhp, 16-valve version of the 1.4-litre engine.
